Dan Ebner - MPH 45 Representative
Dan graduated college in ’09 and spent 2 years as independent consultant, later educator, in Japan. After the 2011 earthquake, he endeavored to return to medicine, leading to a year of translational research at the University of Tokyo and then medical school at Brown, interspersed with work in Fukushima with Kyoto University and two years at the Hospital of the National Institute of Radiological Science. Now at Harvard Chan, he is focusing on healthcare management and entrepreneurship with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. dkebner@hsph.harvard.edu
Ryan Ortizo- MPH 45 Representative
Ryan hails from the island of Saipan, a tiny U.S territory in the West Pacific. A recent medical school graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, he hopes to bring his skills and expertise back to his hometown, and address the issues of health inequity and disparity among underrepresented populations in U.S. territories. In his free time, he plays the ukulele, geocaches, and runs an online gaming community. ortizo@hsph.harvard.edu
Fernando Bruno- MPH Epidemiology Representative
Dr. Fernando Bruno is an MPH Student in Epidemiology (Class of 2020). He is also a Physician and Assistant Professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in NY. Dr. Bruno has been involved in multiple research projects, including regeneration of the central nervous system; pathogenesis of cerebral malaria; and most recently, value-based care in the special needs population; and best practices in medical education. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro and loves dancing, music and astronomy. fbruno@hsph.harvard.edu
Christina Scaduto- MPH 65 Representative
Christina is a MPH 65 student in the department of Global Health and Population. Prior to HSPH, Christina served as a strategic information and evaluation officer at an international NGO focusing on HIV, TB, and other global health priorities. Her interest is in using data analytics to measure the impact of large-scale international health programs. Christina grew up in the Washington, DC area and enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and is an avid foodie. cscaduto@hsph.harvard.edu
Mathew Samuel- SM 60 Representative
Mathew Samuel is a student in the Health Data Science program, interested in using data and technology to improve the healthcare experience of patients. Prior to graduate school, Mathew helped federal and nonprofit clients tackle an assortment of problems, particularly as it relates to using data to make decisions, as a Management Consultant in Accenture Federal’s Analytics practice. Samantha Zepeda - SM 80 Representative
Sam Zepeda is a first-year, SM 80 global health and population student from the California Bay Area. She studied biology and global health at Duke, worked in domestic health policy for two years, and is currently interested in the socioeconomic determinants of the spread of infectious disease. szepeda@hsph.harvard.edu
Nicholas Arisco - PhD Representative
Nick is a first year PHS student in Global Health and Populations and studies the effects of global environmental change on patterns of vector borne disease, specifically malaria. Stephanie Kang - DrPH Representative
Stephanie Kang is a second-year DrPH student. She is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Boston 10 years ago for her bachelors in Behavioral Neuroscience degree at Northeastern University. Over the years, she directed a program that provided clinician placements in hospitals throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, performed drug discovery research for neurodegenerative diseases, and coordinated clinical research in the ICU while managing a quality improvement physician training program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Most recently, she served as Program Director for an innovative education program for underserved Boston youth and another organization implementing community-based health projects in rural Haiti. Circe J. Gray LeCompte - SD Representative
Circe J. Gray LeCompte is fifth-year doctor of science (SD) student in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Much of her academic and professional work has concerned the development and evaluation of interventions designed to help underserved LGBTQ+ youth of color. Her doctoral research leverages quantitative and qualitative approaches to assess the conceptualization and use of seroadaptative strategies among black men who have sex with men in the U.S. In addition to her academic work, LeCompte has worked extensively as a teaching assistant and is an editor-in-chief of the Harvard Public Health Review (HPHR). cgl475@mail.harvard.edu

Amanda Graff - Community and Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
Amanda Graff is a MPH-45 student focusing on Health Policy at Harvard University. Previously, she completed her MA in Human Rights Studies at Columbia University, and worked for a lobbying firm focusing on access to healthcare in Washington, D.C. In her spare time, she volunteers as a certified rape crisis counselor at local hospitals. agraff@hsph.harvard.edu
Allie Lee - Health and Wellness Coordinator
Alexandria Lee is a first year SM 80 student in the department of Epidemiology. She is interested in both maternal and child health, as well as women, gender, and health. Spyros Potiris - International Student Advocate
Spyros Potiris is a part-time student in the MPH-45 Health Management program. His interests include strategic management of large hospital systems and operational efficiency. Vidiana Cervantes - Diversity and Inclusion Representative
Vidiana Cervantes, Diversity and Inclusion Representative, is currently an MPH Health Management student at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to attending Harvard she spent several years working in community health centers and a managed care payor. She is very passionate about increasing access to quality health services in underserved communities. Vidiana is a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and was born and raised in California. Sarah Zelasky - Public Relations Coordinator
Sarah is a first-year SM 80 Environmental Health student studying indoor air pollution exposure disparities in low-income communities. She grew up in North Carolina and went to undergrad at UNC-Chapel Hill where she developed a passion for work in air pollution and played fiddle in the Carolina Bluegrass Band. Bryan O. Buckley - Person At Large (PAL) and HGC Representative
Bryan O. Buckley is a second-year Doctor of Public Health candidate. His interest is in the intersection between healthcare and community health as hospitals attempt to address SDOH. One fun fact about him is that he am a first generation Antiguan-American, and his parents sent him to Antigua and other islands every summer until he was 18 as an alternative to summer camp. buckley@hsph.harvard.edu
