Bangyan Hu

Bangyan Hu is a master’s student researcher at the Marc Weisskopf Lab. His research primarily aims to understand the multifaceted factors that influence and predict cognitive health and well-being in aging populations. Currently, he is exploring the impact of sleep disturbances on cognitive function in older women. Bangyan holds a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where his research focuses on understanding the neuronal control of protein translation in the regulation of animal behavior. In his personal time, he enjoys solving puzzles (e.g., Rubik’s Cube, Megaminx), along with playing basketball and swimming.
