Corban Gunn, Attorney at Law, a personal injury lawyer located in Biloxi, Mississippi, is offering a once-yearly $1,000 scholarship to students who are currently attending or plan to attend their first year of college or graduate school in the upcoming fall semester. Corban Gunn believes that by helping students overcome the increased costs of attending college, our world can become a brighter place for today’s generation and all future generations.
Our law office first began the scholarship in Fall 2017 and were humbled by its success. Since then, we’ve continued it every year.
The current open submission period is for Fall 2022. Applications are due by August 5th, 2022.
The cutoff time for applications is 11:59 PM EST.
Scholarship Details and Guidelines
- Students can be attending or planning to attend any college or graduate school in the United States.
- To receive scholarship funds, you must be living in the United States (with a U.S. mailing address) at the time of the scholarship’s due date.
- All applicants must be attending or plan on attending for their first year.
- As proof of your first-year status, you will need to submit a digital copy (PDF, JPG, or PNG) of your acceptance letter—complete with the college letterhead—from that college. If you do not have your letter, we also accept other forms of proof, including an email from the college stating you’ve been accepted for your first year, digital transcripts, or a screencap of your first course load.
