The Prevention Research Center on Nutrition and Physical Activity Selected to Be Part of the PRC Network 2019-2024

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Prevention Research Centers Network blue logoThe Prevention Research Center on Nutrition and Physical Activity at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HPRC) is pleased to announce that it has been selected to be a part of the Prevention Research Center (PRC) network for the 2019-2024 funding cycle. The HPRC team is excited to be a part of the new PRC program that will fund 25 academic institutions to conduct applied public health prevention research beginning in September of 2019.

The HPRC team is looking forward to having additional resources to further their work to engage with partners working in public health practice at the local, state, and national levels to promote translation and adoption of obesity prevention interventions. The HPRC will continue to advance obesity prevention research and the translation of cost-effective public health strategies that improve population health and reduce health disparities.
