Dr. Angie Cradock to Present at 2022 ACSM Annual Meeting & World Congresses

After two years away, the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting and World Congresses will take place in San Diego, California. Featuring both on-site and online programming, the 2022 ACSM Annual Meeting, World Congress on Exercise is Medicine and World Congress on the Basic Science of Exercise and Vascular Health showcases the latest in exercise science and sports medicine. 

Dr. Angie Cradock will present on Friday, June 3 about new science from a collaboration with the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NIH, CDC, USDA, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation) to identify and translate key economic indicators for evaluation of community physical activity interventions.

Description: This session will present new findings on economic translation and evaluation of community physical activity interventions. Dr. Jim Sallis (UCSD) will provide an overview of the science in this arena. Dr. Sallis is an internationally recognized scientist and expert on the economics of physical activity. Dr. Angie Cradock (Harvard) is also an internationally recognized scientist and expert in economic models and indicators for nutrition and physical activity interventions. Dr. Cradock will present new science from a collaboration with the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NIH, CDC, USDA, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation) to identify and translate key economic indicators for evaluation of community physical activity interventions.
