Scholarships included on this page all require separate applications from the Harvard Chan application process and will have different deadlines. Please note that applicants enrolled part-time are generally not eligible for university-wide scholarships.
The Committee on General Scholarships (CGS)
CGS administers fellowships for students both domestically and internationally. Although the Harvard Chan School determines CGS General funds (you will need to complete the Harvard Chan application process to be considered), there are other fellowship opportunities for students that require applications directly through CGS included below:
The Zuckerman Fellows Program
is open to United States citizens with a law, business, or medical degree who wish to pursue an additional degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, or the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Students who are working on their law, business, or medical degrees and wish to pursue this second public service degree may apply for consideration. Students who are planning to pursue both degrees simultaneously may also apply to the program.
The Zuckerman Fellowship provides recipients with scholarship and stipend funding. Please see the link above for funding details and deadlines.
Opportunities for International Students
Harvard Chan international students may be eligible to apply for specific scholarships/fellowships
. In the detail of the award it will note if you need to complete a separate application, otherwise you will be automatically nominated based on your citizenship.
CGS administers traveling fellowships
each year to Harvard students for an academic year of travel, study, and/or research abroad. Competition for these scholarships is University-wide and scholarship amounts may range.
