Research Cores

Our research focuses on three major environmental exposures – metals, particulate matter, and organic chemicals – and aims to illuminate the pathways by which these environmental exposures affect human health.

Community Engagement Core (CEC)

The CEC partners with community organizations and/or initiatives to co-develop strategies that address local, regional and national environmental health concerns.

Environmental Statistics & Bioinformatics Core (ESBC)

The ESBC provides biostatistical, statistical genetics and genomics, and bioinformatics support.

Integrated Health Science Facility Core (IHSFC)

The IHSFC provides a range of services that may be covered by available Facility Access Funds (FAFs).

Geographic & Contextual Measures Core (GCMC)

The GCMC provides expertise in GIS, creation and interpretation of contextual variables and social constructs.

Pilot Project Program

Awards up to $30,000. Deadline in spring and fall.
