- We are proud to announce that Dr. Jen Mitchel received the Parker B. Francis Fellowship from the Francis Family Foundation (2019-2021). Dr. Mitchel will investigate epithelial cell jamming to determine if the epithelial cell unjamming is the fundamental process of epithelial repair.
Park Lab received a new R01 grant entitled “Physics of Bronchial Epithelial Unjamming.”
We are proud to announce that Dr. Mike O’Sullivan has been appointed the Joseph D. Brain fellow (Oct. 2018 -Sept. 2019).
Joseph D. Brain is the Cecil K. and Philip Drinker Professor of Environmental Physiology and former chair of the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Joseph D. Brain fellowship was established to honor Dr. Brain for his significant contributions to the Department of Environmental Health and the field of environmental physiology.
A research article published by the Park Lab is highlighted in the American Journal of Physiology-lung
