We are proud to share that Chimwemwe Mwase has been awarded the Barry R. and Irene Tilenius Bloom Fellowship for 2021-22.
The recipient of the Barry R. and Irene Tilenius Bloom Fellowship is selected based on academic merit, leadership potential, and commitment to improving public health in fields and areas of the world in greatest need. [New Grants]
- We are proud to announce that Dr. Jen Mitchel received the Parker B. Francis Fellowship from the Francis Family Foundation (2019-2021). Dr. Mitchel will investigate epithelial cell jamming to determine if the epithelial cell unjamming is the fundamental process of epithelial repair.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Mike O’Sullivan has been appointed the Joseph D. Brain fellow (Oct. 2018 -Sept. 2019).
Joseph D. Brain is the Cecil K. and Philip Drinker Professor of Environmental Physiology and former chair of the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Joseph D. Brain fellowship was established to honor Dr. Brain for his significant contributions to the Department of Environmental Health and the field of environmental physiology.
