Seeking Applications for 2018 Leaders in Health Cohort

THE APPLICATION PROCESS for THE 2018 LEADERS IN HEALTH COHORT IS NOW CLOSED.

This past year, the Leaders in Health Community Training Program was successfully relaunched in collaboration with the Harvard T.H. Chan School Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The program has broadened to focus on population health and prevention—expanding to include projects on topics such as elder wellness, health in housing, and sexual health promotion in addition to nutrition and physical activity.

The program is currently seeking applications for our 2018 Leaders in Health cohort, which will meet for 8 weeks this fall. The goal of the program to build the capacity of our community partners by providing participants with an introduction to public health, including the fundamentals of community-based participatory research (CBPR) and program design & evaluation. We are looking for a diverse group of participants who represent organizations in the Greater Boston area that are working to improve population health. Applications are due on August 24.
