Recommended immunizations will vary by country and region. A general outline of required and recommended vaccinations by country are available via the CDC and WHO websites. Some vaccinations must be administered several weeks prior to departure, so please schedule an appointment with your physician or travel clinic as soon as you are accepted into a course. When in doubt, check with your course teaching team on what immunizations may be required prior to departure.

Insurance Coverage
The Student Health Insurance Plan covers the same benefits throughout the United States and abroad; however, your out-of-pocket cost may vary.
It is recommended that students familiarize themselves with their benefits before traveling. If your insurance coverage is held with a provider other than the Harvard Student Health Insurance Plan, please contact your provider regarding coverage while traveling outside the U.S.
