Virtual Admitted Student Events

Please continue to check our Events and Opportunities page! Events will be added as details are confirmed.

Check your admissions contingencies and holds

  1. Check your my.harvard Portal for any admissions contingencies in your checklist on the “Harvard Chan” tab. The details of the contingency requirement are viewable by clicking the item on your checklist. If no items are listed in your checklist, then there are no outstanding admissions contingencies. Unresolved items will result in holds, blocking students from course enrollment.
  2. All new students are required to complete the modules Academic Integrity and Supporting a Harassment-Free Community prior to your arrival at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A link to these modules will be sent out via email.

Set up your Harvard email

You have already received your Harvard University ID number (HUID) and claimed your HarvardKey in order to log into the my.harvard Portal.  The Helpdesk will email you to set up your Harvard email roughly a month prior to your start date. In the meantime, you will receive communication to your personal email address. Your Harvard email will be your primary means of receiving School and University communications once you have set it up.

Submit your photo for the Harvard University Directory

Information regarding this process will be emailed to you from the Registrar’s Office.

Financial Aid

Review your financial aid and reach out to the Office of Financial Aid (OFA) with any questions. Next steps will be emailed to students who are borrowing loans closer to the start of their program. For more information on MPH financial aid decisions, you may find it helpful to review frequently asked questions. If you are receiving any outside scholarships, please email OFA with that information!

Tuition and Fees

Tuition & Fees and billing policies can be found on the Student Billing website. Your student bill will be posted in the my.harvard Portal under Student Accounts.

You may wish to review the MPH curriculum for the Generalist field of study as well as the MPH Generalist Curriculum Guide for the current cohort. You will receive an updated curriculum guide, and information about course enrollment and advising prior to course enrollment. Please contact the MPH Generalist program manager with any questions.

VDI allows students to access a virtual computer lab from any internet connected computer. Below are links for more information about VDI:
