September 29, 2017 — “Think Out Loud,” Oregon Public Broadcasting: A new law goes into effect on October 1 in Oregon making it illegal for drivers to do almost anything with their mobile device (other than hands-free calls). Jay Winsten, associate dean of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Center for Health Communication joined OPB’s Dave Miller to talk about how laws like this fit into the uphill battle to change behavior and the public’s perception of their own distracted driving habits.
