Remote Student Expectations
The PCE is a fast-paced, rigorous program. Ideally students should be free of all clinical responsibilities during the 7-week period. This enables students to commit fully to the intense, yet very rewarding curriculum. The PCE involves a considerable amount of homework. In the past, approximately 30% of participants spent on average over 20 hours each week on homework assignments.
The Remote Option is not interactive. Lectures will be recorded and can be watched simultaneously to the class schedule or at a later time. Classes are 5 days a week, therefore you should expect 5 lecture recordings to watch per course each week. Office hours will be available virtually.
Tuition
Starting in Summer 2023, HSPH will be billing a flat rate for all non-degree PCE students who complete the certificate program regardless of credit amount. The 2023 non-degree tuition for completing the Remote Option (10-credit) PCE is $23,100
