Adriano Massuda is a Professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), School of Business Administration and leads the FGV Center for Health Planning and Management Studies, São Paulo, Brazil . He is a Medical Doctor with residency in Preventive and Social Medicine and Health Administration. Master’s and Ph.D. in Health Policy and Planning from the Department of Collective Health of the Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP). Worked as a physician in Campinas, advisor to the superintendent of the Hospital de Clínicas (Unicamp), Head of Staff of the Ministry of Sports, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Health Brazil, Municipal Secretary of Health of Curitiba, National Secretary of Science, Technology and Strategic Inputs of the Ministry of Health and as a Professional Training Coordinator of the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services. He was a researcher at the Department of Global Health and Population (HSPH), an external consultant of the Pan American Health Organization, and an associate professor at the Federal University of Paraná. Experience in the areas of Policies, Planning and Management in Health, and Innovation in Health Systems.
