Dr Akoi is an MPH-Health Policy candidate at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Prior to Chan, Deng was finalizing an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Nairobi in Kenya. Deng holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nairobi. He has previously worked within the public and private hospital systems in Kenya and South Sudan.
