Sagar Grewal, BSc, MSc, MD(c)

Sagar Grewal is a current medical student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He recently completed a joint-Masters in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics, and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he developed an interest in improving and innovating health systems and patient care. As a former Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada with the Prime Minister’s Youth Council, and Canadian Delegate to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Sagar appreciates the importance of advocacy and policy development in shaping health outcomes and equity. His passion for advocacy extends to representing his peers, having previously served as President of the University of Calgary Students’ Union, and as a current Medical Students’ Association President, and International Student Ambassador with the UK Council for International Student Affairs.
