Transportation

Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Boston; they are also responsible for their travel while on campus. The closest airport is Logan. Allow an hour travel time between the airport and campus.

The Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health is located in the Boston Longwood Medical Area that includes the Harvard Medical School and many local hospitals. The link below provides the school’s exact address, directions to campus and links to maps and public transportation. We are at the Brigham Circle stop on the Huntington Avenue Green Line (E line.)  The closest Commuter Rail stop is Lansdowne station.

Directions

Parking is extremely scarce in the Medical Area; it is best to use cabs or public transportation. Occasionally students choose to park at a local hospital’s garage; Children’s Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital are the closest. Contact the hospitals directly for rate information.  On Saturday and Sunday, discounted parking is available at the MASCO garage on Longwood Avenue.

For students who choose to stay in Cambridge, there is a free bus shuttle called the “M2” available to all with a Harvard ID. More information is available via the link below:
