She has held roles in government, non-profits, and academia, receiving fellowships and scholarships to work, teach, and study across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA. Her advocacy for girls and women has been highlighted by C-SPAN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Atlanta Voice, among other news outlets.

Throughout her career, Ndoye has tackled various social and public health issues. As a Luce Scholar, she spent over a year at a center rehabilitating child survivors of sex trafficking along Thailand’s borders with Myanmar and Laos. Nearly a decade later, she was appointed Senior Human Trafficking Fellow and a member of the Mayor of Atlanta’s executive cabinet. She continued this work with the State of Georgia’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), pioneering best practices for responding to agricultural labor trafficking. Ndoye has served on the Board of Directors for Wellspring Living and is now on their advisory board, contributing to transformative care for victims of sex trafficking.

Passionate about women’s well-being and maternal health, she completed Postpartum Doula classes with DONA International and founded the Ministry of Motherhood at Ebenezer Baptist Church to support new moms from pregnancy through early motherhood. In 2020, she joined the Board of Motherhood Beyond Bars, which provides health education, advocacy, and support for incarcerated pregnant women in Georgia. Her research on maternal health continued through the Maternal Health Leadership Lab at Harvard. Currently, Ndoye is focused on water safety and drowning prevention, addressing the alarming rise in drowning rates, the leading cause of death for children aged one to four.

Committed to bridging the academic-practitioner gap, Ndoye is pursuing her doctorate in public health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York, she graduated from Spelman College, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, in the top 1% of her class. Ndoye earned her Master of Science from the University of Oxford and Master of Arts from Columbia University. She is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Passionate about the betterment of society at home and abroad, she dedicates her professional and intellectual pursuits to supporting the health and rights of children worldwide. Her most cherished priority is raising her daughter and son with love and laughter each day.
