Summer Field Immersion Experience
I worked on two different projects as a Summer Associate at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation this summer. The first was to identify and document alternative or emerging service delivery innovations in primary health care in light of Covid-19 while the second was to synthesize findings and learnings from the African Health Markets for Equity project to inform the Foundation’s future investments. I learned to be more comfortable in the productive zone of disequilibrium as most of the COVID-19 work I did was mostly new and ambiguous.
