“My doctoral work focused on statistical issues related to air pollution epidemiology, such as quantification of and correction for exposure measurement error, characterization of the relationship between air pollution mixtures and adverse health, and characterization of uncertainty associated with identification of particle sources and propagation into health models. My work resulted in four publications in scientific journals and provided me with the training to eventually pursue an academic career. After completing my ScD, I remained in the EH Department as a post-doctoral fellow for three years. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Health Sciences Department at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health”.
