Postdoctoral Research Fellow
2021 – present. Xikun is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Epidemiology, Program in Genetic Epidemiology and Statistical Genetics at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, mentored by Dr. Liang. Prior to joining the lab, Xikun earned his Ph.D. in statistical genetics from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute & University of Queensland in Australia under the supervision of Prof. Stuart MacGregor. His research focuses on the genetics of complex disorders, especially eye diseases and asthma. He is interested in developing new statistical and computational tools for multi-omics data. He leverages large-scale biobanks and multi-omics data to characterize genetic architecture, predict disease risk, and discover new drug targets.
