Student Life Overview
Students have access to all of the same resources at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health that are available to residential students. Some of the most requested benefits are listed as follows.
Library Privileges
Students have circulating privileges at all Harvard libraries, including the newly renovated Countway Medical Library. Detailed listing of the Countway’s holdings, policies and library hours are below, as well as links to other Harvard libraries: www.countway.harvard.edu
Career Services
Most of our students are working full-time in a health care organization and are not seeking immediate career services. However, we have developed a growing alumni network to assist those in transition, and offer occasional workshops with representatives of national search firms specializing in physician executives.
In addition our faculty offer extensive contacts in health care organization, and students and alumni are kept informed of new opportunities as they come to our attention.
The Harvard Chan School Career Advancement office is available to assist students with individual guidance, such as translating an academic resume into a more traditional business format. www.hsph.harvard.edu/careers/
