Many students are required to create and present a poster that describes key aspects of their field practice experience. Developing the poster is an opportunity for students to reflect and analyze their experiences, and then synthesize and share the most important findings with colleagues. Strong communication skills – oral, written, visual, and listening – are central to public health practice, as well as an emphasis on disseminating important findings to build a community of learning.
