Are you conducting a literature review to inform your field practice? Every year, most students report that they include a literature review as part of their work in the field.

Countway liaison librarians can assist you with your literature reviews. The Countway Library Chan School liaison team encourages you to work with one of our research librarians to ensure that you identify all of the studies relevant to your project. We can assist you in identifying the databases to search: for example, beyond PubMed, you might consult the Global Health Database, Public Affairs Information Service, CAB Direct, EconLit, PsycInfo, or a number of other subject specific indexes to the peer reviewed literature, provided by the Harvard Libraries. We can also advise on the best way to query these databases, based on our years of experience with systematic literature reviews.

A recording of a prior PubMed workshop conducted by Carol Mita (Countway Reference and Education Librarian) is available here and is a great place to start!
