In 2021, the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences convened a committee to work in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) to embed diversity and belonging practices into our department’s services and operations. The committee is made up of faculty, staff and students who are committed to issues of diversity, inclusion and belonging and who wish to develop and guide action planning while simultaneously engaging our SBS community in these areas. The committee meets every other week during the academic year during the lunch hour and are accepting new student members for the 2022-23 academic year.
