Impact of Unresolved Trauma on American Indian Health Equity | SBS Racism & Health Seminar Series

Numerous sources of trauma continue to adversely impact Indigenous Peoples, including historical trauma, forced boarding school participation, adverse childhood experiences, and ongoing racism and marginalization. In this session we will explore the impact of unresolved trauma on American Indian health equity, and we will describe sources of strength and resilience that can be supported to improve population health outcomes.
