Ombuds Office

The Ombuds Office supports an ethical and civil culture, encouraging mutual understanding and resolution through respectful dialogue and fair processes. The Ombudsperson serves students, faculty, staff and trainees of Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is independent in structure, function and appearance. Postdocs can use the Ombuds office to discuss issues informally or to request formal assistance in addressing concerns. The Ombudsperson’s role is to listen and help you identify issues, goals and options; you’ll make your own decisions regarding next steps.

OFA

The Office of Faculty Affairs is responsible for administration needs of postdoctoral fellows. For issues not addressed by the resources above, OFA is a good first step for any questions or concerns.
