Insights into the complexity of allelic function from clinical sequencing

The genotype-phenotype relationships of many disease genes are extraordinarily intricate and hint at deep uncharted complexities in gene function. Clinical phenotypic data can serve as a useful functional read-out and integration and exploration of phenotypic information in research studies should be increased. In this talk I will describe some key exemplars and outline their scientific and clinical importance.
