Emerging challenges and opportunities in gene editing

The Program in Quantitative Genomics will host its 16th annual conference, “Emerging challenges and opportunities in gene editing”, remotely via Zoom on November 3-4, 2022.

Genome editing has revolutionized our ability to precisely edit DNA and RNA sequences and to understand their function at scale in cells, plants and animal models. Recently, several CRISPR based technologies have emerged and significantly accelerated biological discovery and the development of potential therapeutics with several on-going clinical trials.

The 2022 PGQ conference will cover recent genome editing technologies and related computational methods, their application in basic and translational research and future directions and challenges of this exciting field.

The conference will be centered on the following three topics:

SESSION 1: Therapeutic applications of genome editing
SESSION 2: Discovery applications
SESSION 3: Emerging challenges and technologies

Registration is free but required. We encourage you to register early for this event.
We highly encourage abstract submissions and participation of all researchers, especially junior researchers, for posters and possible platform presentations.  Top abstracts will be selected as stellar abstract award winners to be presented as 10-minute platform talks.
