Effects of human genetic variation from gene regulation to adaptation

I will describe our work on the genetic basis of phenotypic variation, from variation in gene regulation to complex traits. I will focus in particular on our work to understand the molecular mechanisms by which genetic variants drive changes in regulation in different cell types.  The second half of the talk will focus on new methods to study recent human adaptation, with emphasis on adaptation of height and other highly polygenic traits.
