The allelic architecture of human disease risk factors

The last two decades of genetic research have brought unprecedented insights into genetic risk factors for many complex and rare diseases. In my talk, I will discuss our work resolving the allelic architecture of quantitative risk factors for complex human diseases, including explorations of molecular intermediates and mechanisms behind observed genetic associations and explorations of polygenic risk to rare diseases.
