Lisa Gabel, Senior QA/QI Specialist, is responsible for providing Quality Improvement Program (QIP) services to the LMA research community, serving Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and Harvard School of Public Health. As a member of the QIP team, Lisa provides a range of research support to investigators and research staff, as well as educational opportunities focused towards maintaining both investigator and IRB compliance with federal regulations, state and local laws, and institutional policies. Lisa joined OHRA after working at the Harvard Medical School as an IRB Coordinator conducting protocol reviews, and then developing and implementing the HMS Quality Assurance and post-approval monitoring program. Prior to that, Lisa worked at HMS as the Project Manager for several multi-site psychiatric and genetic linkage research protocols. Lisa received her BA in Psychology and Sociology from Skidmore College. Lisa is a Certified IRB Professional (CIP).
