Tuition Assessment

Tuition will be assessed at the full-time rate in 3 equal payments (summer, fall, and spring) during the first 2 years. Tuition will be assessed at the full-time reduced rate in 3 equal payments (summer, fall, and spring) in the third year.

For students continuing in to a fourth year (and beyond), tuition will be assessed in 3 equal payments (summer, fall, and spring) at the Continuation Fee rate, as applicable (up to and including the term of graduation).

For students approved to be non-resident in their third year, tuition will be billed at the full-time reduced rate in 3 equal payments (summer, fall, and spring).

For students approved to be non-resident in their fourth year (and beyond), tuition will be assessed at the non-resident fee rate in 3 equal payments, as applicable (up to and including the term of graduation).

Tuition Requirements

In addition to meeting academic requirements, students must meet the School’s tuition requirements. Students must pay the full cost of their degree program’s tuition to receive a degree.

DrPH students are required to pay 2 years of full-time tuition and 1 year of full-time reduced tuition. If they need additional time beyond the third year, they are billed the appropriate fee (Continuation Fee or non-resident fee) for each additional term needed to graduate (up to and including the semester of graduation).

Students with prior Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health degrees will NOT receive financial credit towards the DrPH tuition requirements.
