Master of Public Health (MPH)

Full-time students in an academic year degree program are billed 1/2 of that academic year’s tuition rate in each required term of enrollment. *

*Full-time students in an academic year degree program that begin enrolling in a summer term will be billed 1/3 of that academic year’s tuition rate in that summer term; and each required term of enrollment.

Part-time students in an academic year degree program are billed 1/4 of that academic year’s tuition rate in each required term of enrollment. *

*Part-time students in an academic year degree program that begin enrolling in a summer term will be billed 1/3 of that academic year’s tuition rate in that summer term; and 1/6 of that year’s tuition rate in each required term of enrollment.

Students planning to transfer non-degree credits into a degree program should refer to the Non-Degree Transfer Credits policy.

Summer-focused degree program students are billed 1/2 of that academic year’s tuition rate in the first two summer terms of enrollment.

Students planning to transfer non-degree credits into a degree program should refer to the Non-Degree Transfer Credits policy.

In addition to meeting academic requirements, students must meet their degree program tuition requirements. Students must pay their full degree program tuition to receive a degree. Students that switch between full- and part-time status must pay the equivalent program tuition. The cost of the degree is the same for full- and part-time students.

  • MPH45: 2 full-time terms; or 4 part-time terms
  • MPH65: 3 full-time terms; or 6 part-time terms
  • MPH45 Summer-Focused: 2 full-time summer terms

Students that complete their program early will be assessed for any remaining degree program tuition in their graduation term.

Students in the MPH-GEN program are not permitted to waive, substitute, or transfer credits into the program and no financial credit will be applied towards the program’s tuition requirement.

Students are expected to complete all program requirements within their degree program’s published time-to-degree. Time-to-degree begins with the term a student is admitted/matriculated in their degree program.

Students may submit a General Petition to request an extension of their time-to-degree to complete required coursework only. A Continuation Fee will be assessed for each additional term of enrollment beyond the program’s published time-to-degree. Exceptions to the Continuation Fee will be considered for extenuating circumstances only.

Master of Science (SM)

MPH in Epidemiology Online/On-Campus Program (MPH-EPI)

1/3 of the annual cohort tuition rate will be assessed for each term of enrollment (summer, fall, and spring) over two years.

Students that take a leave of absence for 3 or more consecutive terms of enrollment will be assessed tuition based on the current academic year’s annual cohort rate upon return.

In addition to meeting academic requirements, students must meet their degree program tuition requirements. Students must pay their full degree program tuition to receive a degree.

  • MPH-EPI: 6 part-time terms at the cohort tuition rate
