Tuition is prorated according to the schedule below for degree students who take a leave of absence or withdraw after a term of enrollment has begun. The effective date of a leave of absence or withdrawal is the date the petition is filed with the School’s Registrar’s Office or a future date if so requested in the student’s letter.
- Non-degree students that withdraw from courses after the add/drop deadline will not receive a tuition refund.
- Summer PCE program students that withdraw from the program should consult the summer schedule below.
- Students in the HGPHNL program that withdraw from the program should consult the academic year OR summer schedule below, depending on the timing of the withdrawal.

Students who take a Leave of Absence may pay a higher tuition rate upon return to the program.
Students who withdraw or take a leave of absence and who are federal student aid recipients are subject to the return of Title IV funds policy. This policy may affect the amount of federal aid both the school and the student are allowed to retain for the period of enrollment. Please see the Financial Aid Policies on the Office of Financial Aid web site for a more detailed description of the Return of Title IV Funds policy including the refund.
