Donald has been teaching writing at Harvard Chan and developing its writing program for 20 years. He teaches courses and workshops for students, postdoctoral research fellows, and junior faculty from all 9 of the School’s departments on writing a wide range of documents, including doctoral dissertations, original research manuscripts for journal publication, and NIH and other grants.
He created the School’s faculty NIH grant writing course 12 years ago, as well as the postdoctoral grant writing course. When he can, he also works to develop the writing skills and capacity of researchers in Brazil, Ethiopia, and many other countries.
