Tracy Richmond is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and on the faculty of Strategic Training Initiative for the Prevention of Eating Disorders (STRIPED), a public health incubator based at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Boston Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on environmental contexts such as neighborhoods and schools and their contribution to racial/ethnic disparities in adolescent health. More specifically, Richmond studies the attributes of neighborhoods and schools that may contribute to differential rates of obesity and obesity-related behaviors in adolescents.
