Former Sloan Fellow
HCPDS

Yulya Truskinovsky is an economist who studies aging and health economics, with a focus on how family responsibilities influence women’s physical and economic well-being over the life course. She holds a PhD from Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy, and an MA from Tufts University. As a Sloan Fellow, Yulya studied how early- and mid-life experiences and outcomes— including fertility, marriage, and caregiving—impact work- and health-related outcomes at older ages, with a particular interest in how the interaction between family and public policy drives these outcomes.
