Addison Kimber

Rose Service Learning Fellow

Addison Kimber is an MPH student in the department of Health Policy and Management with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. She is interested in the connection between adverse childhood events and chronic disease later in life, and aims to create policies to improve the lives of children and families through reducing the effects of structural inequality. She is also interested in understanding how we can streamline program creation and evaluation to improve the effects of policies in this field.

Addison’s project focusses on engaging with stakeholders in youth mental health and uplifting these community voices for a policy audience. She will work with stakeholders to understand the drivers of the current youth mental health crisis, and community informed ways to create structural changes to improve youth mental health.
