Akosua B. Dankwah is a Doctor of Public Health candidate, and her research interests are utilizing systems thinking and adaptive leadership approaches in bringing about racial health equity. During her 2020 summer immersion with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services as a Harvard Presidential Public Service Fellow, she initiated tough conversations around racial inequity to positively impact ongoing considerations around racial health equity in several ways. Akosua is also the volunteer director of WTL Health Clinic, Inc., a free health clinic providing quality primary healthcare services to Rhode Island residents living in Pawtucket and Central Falls.

Akosua’s project focuses on providing technical advice and project management on the Executive Office of Health and Human Service’s Race Equity Plan.
