Rose Service Learning Fellow

An MPH student in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Allie is a Portland-born, Antigua-rooted medical student, educator, writer, growing healer, and community organizer with a passion for reproductive justice, decolonial discourse, and the healing of historical and intergenerational trauma. She has a call toward bridging allopathic medicine and traditional wisdoms in service to the healing of and justice for all oppressed under the current systems of power.

Allie’s project, as a collaboration with traditional healing communities in Boston, bridges biomedical knowledges with African and Afro-Diasporic indigenous cultural technologies to co-create a transdisciplinary educational and therapeutic space focused on the healing of historical collective trauma for people of the African Diaspora.
