Diana Dominguez Albiter

Mississippi Delta Fellow

Diana is pursuing a Master of Science in Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. She is from Austin, TX and obtained her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Texas at Austin. For two years, she worked at People’s Community Clinic, a non-profit community as a chronic disease educator. She offered education and advocacy to diagnosed patients with diabetes or hypertension. She volunteered in various non-profits to engage with underserved communities (Caritas of Austin, Civic Arts, Brookdale Hospice, and Rundberg Alliance).

Diana’s project focuses on developing an evaluation plan to assess the impact of the Delta Energy Efficiency Program (DEEP) on housing stability in relation to health outcomes in the Mississippi Delta with partnership with Community Foundation, Delta Design Build, and Delta Grace.
