Elise Hoffman

Elise is an MPH-65 student in Health and Social Behavior with a concentration in Health Communications. Elise’s research interests are in chronic disease prevention and treatment. She is particularly interested in leveraging qualitative research methods to advance understanding of patient and community barriers and assets in relation to health promoting behaviors.

Elise’s project focuses on integrating chronic disease and cancer early detection messaging to improve outcomes and address disparities in chronic disease and cancer in Boston. Elise will work with BPHC to partner with community based organizations to integrate resident feedback, disseminate information, and refer residents.
