Juliet McCann

Juliet is a second-year Master of Science student in the Department of Global Health & Population. Her research interests are centered around understanding the facilitators and barriers to optimal child nutrition and early childhood development outcomes. At HSPH, she has collaborated on a project examining the impacts of COVID-19 on food systems and nutrition services in Ethiopia. She has additionally contributed to the analysis of a cluster-randomized control trial in Tanzania that aims to improve early child nutrition and development outcomes through the engagement of fathers. Juliet is looking forward to incorporating service learning into her HSPH education.

Juliet’s project focuses on understanding how fathers in Mwanza, Tanzania are directly engaging with child feeding at the household level to better inform future nutrition programs and policieis.
