Michelle is an MPH in Epidemiology 2022 candidate with the Department of Epidemiology at T.H. Chan. Her professional background includes work in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Michelle is passionate about injury prevention, and central to her research interests is the idea that injuries follow pathological patterns, just as many other diseases, and therefore many injuries can be both predicted and prevented. She believes preventing injuries and mitigating their after effects is imperative to recovery and resiliency in helping people live healthy lives. Michelle’s other research interests include global health, health equity, and healthcare quality improvement.
Michelle’s project will focus on the impact of trauma on child, adolescent, and adult health outcomes.
