Nava Barman is a current MPH-45 student in Global Health, completing his Master’s during a year away from medical school. After his year at HSPH, he will return to Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, PA to complete his final year of medical school before applying into pediatrics or child neurology residency. 

Nava Barman’s fieldwork will focus on qualitative analysis of various stakeholder data regarding water practices and quality within a rural community in northern Honduras. His fieldwork will occur in Spring 2022 where he will trial test several education-based interventions in the community, with the ultimate goal of reducing diarrhea incidence among children in the community.
