Nora Abo-Sido, MD is a physician dual trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and a Commonwealth Fund Fellow in Minority Health Policy. She is obtaining her MPH in Health Policy, focused on health equity and social justice in medicine. For her practicum project, she is working with the Boston Public Health Commission.
Nora’s project focuses on increasing chronic disease and cancer screening in Boston communities which have been historically under-screened by designing effective multicultural healthcare messaging with direct community input. She is working with the Boston Public Health Commission creative team, and a multidisciplinary advisory group to implement and disseminate a community-facing campaign.
