Rose is MPH 45 candidate in the Department of Health Policy and Management. She is a Pediatrician and has recently finished her residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Her previous research work has delved into the intersection of nutrition with the social determinants of health, particularly focusing on diagnosing and managing Iron Deficiency Anemia. Her passion lies in implementation science, aiming to spotlight and bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility for underserved children and their families.

Rose’s current project reflects her commitment to community-centric solutions. Collaborating closely with the Southern Alberta community, she’s delving into the socio-economic intricacies that influence the usage of Pediatric follow-up clinic. This clinic serves as a pivotal connector between in-patient services and ambulatory care. The project aims to integrate patient feedback, identify care gaps, and fortify the program’s efficacy and reach.
