Zeenith is the founder of Jamii Life – a social enterprise that aims to redesign homecare to increase accessibility, transparency, quality care and peace of mind in South Africa. Jamii Life trains family caregivers to become accredited health workers. Zeenith’s grandmother, bedridden for 16 years, inspired Jamii Life. Before this, Zeenith led GE Healthcare’s Affordable Care and Indirect Channel Partners across Africa, focusing on enabling medical equipment access across Africa. Zeenith spent a decade working in rail transportation and leveraging infrastructure projects to create jobs and transfer skills across the African continent.
Zeenith’s project aims is to celebrate family caregivers as community heroes and start to build community-based support groups and highlight the lived experience of family caregivers.
