Dr. Sabra L. Katz-Wise, Assistant Professor in Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School (HMS), and in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, has recently published “COVID-19 and the LGBTQ+ community: Rising to unique challenges” in the Harvard Health Blog.
In the blog post, Dr. Katz-Wise writes about the minority stress that the LGBTQ+ community is already facing and outlines new forms of stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, she provides resources that may be helpful for people of the LGBTQ+ community who are experiencing such stresses.
